This Wiki page describes the neccesary steps to take to prepare the host machine to successfuly compile the Yocto BSP for the iMX8M Industrial Development Kit. If the host setup has been completed, follow Yocto Image Build Wiki, which summarizes the process of compyling Yocto image and binaries.

Host machine

This image build was tested and verified on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver) and Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa) operating systems.
