This section shows information about Data Image TFT display. This display with resistive touch screen is assigned to be used with the i.MX53, i.MX51, i.MX25, PXA270M or PXA270 DIMM PC - Development Kits. It is supported in Linux (Opie) and WinCE6.0 operating systems.
The display datasheet can be downloaded from here.
Hardware connection
To make the physical connection between the board and the display easier, Data Image TFT display adapter was designed to connect the set together.
To implement the display capabilities, following connections need to be made:
- Data Image TFT display adapter is plugged into the Base Board H200 male header. Make sure pin number 1 is positioned correctly.
- A flexible flat cable is used for video connection between the adapter H1 connector and the display
- Touch screen feature is established by plugging additional four signal FFC cable into C2 connector. This connector is a top size type to ensure easier connection. Extra care while plugging is important as this cable is shorter and more fragile then the one used for the video interface.
